In SMU Accountancy, we hope to establish a culture where students will not hesitate to provide assistance to fellow peers in their studies. We hope that as we help one another, we will all be able to learn more efficiently, freeing up more time to participate in events to bond closer together as a school. Last but not least, we remain focused on raising the overall standard of the students, so that the marketability and reputation of SMU students in the job market can be maintained or improved.

In this section, we have put together information and advices from seniors, hoping that it will guide the juniors along the right path in their studies. We also completed a survey on the difficulties and synergies between the various modules in Accountancy, so that accountancy students can be more informed about their courses and subsequently plan their courses more effectively to enhance their learning.

We will like to express our thanks to all the seniors who had put in their time and effort into completing the surveys. We will probably be doing another one at the end of the year so we can also gather information on the new modules. Do look out for the survey and participate actively!

Note: To discourage spoon-feeding and to promote self learning, we will be only be posting general website links and not direct links to articles. Student are expected to at least browse through the website themselves (or google search).
