Odds are, you have heard me before you see me.
With my fun-loving and crazy nature, you probably have seen and heard me with my (then) red mop of hair at Asoc Camp 2011 as a Faci. Or you might have seen me carrying soccer balls around school and hear me gloating about a certain 8-2 scoreline.
But I assure you this barely represents my passion for Asoc and my belief in shaping change with my own hands. So help me, Kevyna Pang, be your face AND voice of Asoc 8th MC.

Hi, I am Nguyen Bao Ngan, your fellow Asoc member J.The past year has been very meaningful for me as I immersed myself in organizing Asoc events (Asoc Gala Dinner and Asoc camp). I have enjoyed myself greatly and really hope that all Asoc members can enjoy the same experience too. Thus, this year, I would like to contribute even more to Asoc and to all Accounting students. To be able to be a part of the Asoc legacy is extremely rewarding and joyful to me. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to run for the MC and I really hope that you will give me the chance to serve and to receive more from all of you.
Hello. My name is Jasmine Ng, one of the candidates running for ASoc 8th MC. I am a Year 2 Accountancy student and concurrently part of the ASoc 7th MC. Ever since I entered SMU and immersed myself in the ASoc population, I was certain that I wanted to contribute to the Accounting Society. After serving ASoc for almost a year, with experiences in area of finance, events and professional development, the passion is still burning inside of me. Having the zeal and drive, I am ready to work with gusto for your well-being once again. If you empower me with your confidence, I will do everything within my limits to represent your interests and achieve our common goals. Because your trust lies within me, I will serve the student population devotedly.

School life is both challenging and draining. Being able to juggle between work and play is not easy too. If given a chance to be part of the new committee, I would see to it that more activities/events would be held to allow every Accountancy student to interact with each other more and to have a greater sense of belonging to this big Asoc family.

Hello friends of SMU! This is Georgina (Low Yan Ting), a sophomore. She is running for SMU Accounting Society 8th Management Committee (MC) elections.

As someone who values close relationships, I have a vision to make ASoc a closer, more bonded and united family. If I am given the chance to serve the student community, I will start new initiatives to improve the welfare and cohesion students in our school. Being involved in the planning of some of the ASoc events, I realized the satisfaction when the events have been successful, especially looking at the students interact with each other, catching up and having a break from the stressful school life. ASoc has not only given me enjoyable and heartfelt memories, but also a heartwarming school environment. You guys have probably seen me at ASoc Camp 2011 and yes I was the guy running around. I have an easy going personality with a tendency to involve everyone around me. I am a firm believer of spreading the ASoc mission and vision. If voted, I will work towards ensuring that accountancy students have a greater sense of belonging in their community.
