Programme description

The SMU School of Accountancy takes in on average 20-30 foreign students a year. This makes up to a total of about 100 foreign students across all four batches. Although SMU does have its very own International Students Club which provide support to foreign students on a macro level, much support is still missing from the individual schools. As such, the ASoc ISSN network has been establish to provide a platform for international students to network with other international students, student leaders and professors. Events will be organised to facilitate the development of this network.

Programme Objective

  • To create greater exposure for foreign students with professors and student leaders
  • To ensure that the voices and concerns of foreign students are heard by the relevant parties
  • To instill a sense of school belonging amongst foreign students
